Meet the Local Zero Team - Graeme Henry
This week, we get to know our Systems and IT Manager Graeme Henry...
GRAEME, TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF?
I live in Chilbolton, with my fiancee Janie (who is also on the Local Zero team). In my day job I work with a wide range of companies to reduce inefficiency and waste at all levels of their businesses. In my spare time I am a keen cyclist and member of Chilbolton Chuggers.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO JOIN LOCAL ZERO?
Janie and I have been trying to make lives greener over the past few years and when David told me his idea for Local Zero, I wanted to be a part of it. Drawing upon that experience and knowledge in the food sector, I felt that I could be helpful in mapping out the process side of things, behind the scenes.
WHY DO YOU THINK LOCAL ZERO IS IMPORTANT?
I like the idea of helping others understand and realise moderate changes of lifestyle can have a massive positive impact on the local and world environments.
WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN LOCAL ZERO?
I take care of anything to do with our IT and Systems processes; making sure that the customer experience is a smooth one, along with handling the numbers. Oh, and I am the chief coffee taster too!
